Ann-Margret will be enlisting for two episodes of the Lifetime TV series ARMY WIVES, as it returns for its fourth season on Sunday, April 11, 2010. The Academy Award nominated actress will play Aunt Edie, who shows up unexpectedly on the base to visit her nephew Major General Michael James Holden and his wife Claudia Joy. Ann-Margret's first episode, entitled 'Guns & Roses', airs on Mother's Day, May 9, 2010 at 10pm.
Ann-Margret appeared in a very special guest appearance on NBC's hit series LAW & ORDER: SVU on Wed., March, 31, 2010 at 10pm. In this episode, entitled 'Bedtime' Ann-Margret played a woman who starred in commercials in the 1970s who gets involved in the case that Stabler and Benson are working on.
March 4, 2010 Update: Ann-Margret received the 2010 "Arts & Activism" award from the Desert AIDS Project on March 11, 2010.
Jim Casey, co-chair and presenting sponsor of the Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards, and David Brinkman, Executive Director of Desert AIDS Project, will present the award to the Golden Globe winner who first found fame starring opposite Elvis Presley. Bad weather conditions and a busy filming schedule prevented Ann-Margret from attending the awards ceremony on Feb. 27, 2010 but she will visit and tour Desert AIDS Project campus, meet the Desert AIDS team and patients and personally accept the award.
Ann-Margret received the Arts and Activism Award at the 2010 Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards Gala Feb. 27, 2010 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The evening was hosted by Richard Chamberlain and Stefanie Powers. Entertainers included Linda Eder, Jennifer Holliday, and Roslyn Kind with the Pat Rizzo orchestra. Diahann Carroll, Linda Gray, Morgan Fairchild and Donna Mills attended as well. 2010 honorees include Bob Mackie (Arts and Activism Award), Ann-Margret (Arts and Activism Award) - who was snowed in in New York and her award was accepted by Michelle Lee, Caear Coalition (Medicine and Advocacy Award), Steve Kaufer and Scott Van Dyke (Partners for Life Award), and Mary Cone (100 Women. All net proceeds from the gala benefited Desert AIDS Project, the organization supporting people living with HIV and AIDS.
ARMY WIVES
Ann-Margret will guest star on a special Mother's Day episode of ARMY WIVES titled "Guns & Roses," premiering on Sunday, May 9 at 10 PM ET/PT on Lifetime.
Synopsis: Ann-Margret will play Michael Holden's (Brian McNamara) Aunt Edie. In the episode, families on the post are making preparations to celebrate Mother's Day and Claudia Joy is hosting her annual Mother's Day brunch for families who are missing loed ones. Michael's Aunt Edie (Ann-Margret) comes to base for an unannounced visit and the Holden's must rearrange their plans. Meanwhile, Joan is stuck overseas but that doesn't stop her husband Roland from finding a way to make sure she feels loved and appreciated for the special day.

The film was show at select film festivals in the fall of 2009, and opened in New York and Los Angeles on Dec. 30, 2009, which will be followed by a top-10 market expansion in early 2010.

ALL'S FAIRE IN LOVE
Synopsis: Set in the world of a Renaissance Faire, "All's Faire in Love" is a light-hearted romp, a romantic camp comedy, falling somewhere between "Shakespeare In Love" and "Meatballs". After years of performing together, a rag-tag theatre troupe is about to lose its prime gig at Ye Olde Times Renaissance Faire when the Faire's owner threatens to hand over their stage to a rival troupe of conceited, classically-trained Shakespearean actors. The gonzo group must revive their act and find help from an unexpected source - their two new backstage hands, a young actor and actress who must overcome all manner of subterfuge and opposition to prove their worth, win the day, and - perhaps - fall in love.

As for the future of “All’s Faire in Love,” producers are working on finalizing a DVD and television deal. He said the film will premiere at several other Renaissance festivals across the nation and that attendance at the screenings will determine if the film will be theatrically released.
