At last year's FanSource A Fan Appreciation Weekend, during Lindsay's private fan club reception, Lindsay asked her fans to join her in her charitable work, and opened the floor up to our fan club members to come up with ideas on how her fan club could participate.  Her fan club members came up with the idea of a Trading Post - where her fans could donate their own duplicate memorabilia of Lindsay's, Lindsay would autograph it, and then we would auction it off through this FanSource website venue.  

So, please read on and learn about the charities that are near and dear to Lindsay's heart, and join us in making a difference.

CATCHING THE DREAM

"Education is the seed that provides spiritual and individual growth."

Catching the Dream, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, provides scholarships, grants, awards and conferences to further higher education for Native students for all ages.

The scholarship program provides funds to enable Native students in the fields that the tribes have defined as  high priority.

The grant program provides grants to Indian schools.

The award program give out awards to schools, individuals, principals and counselors who have achieved outstanding results in educating Native students.

The conference program provides both annual and biennial meetings to help develop exemplary programs in the schools.

Through May of 2004, we will be raising funds towards Catching The Dream's Reading Award Program.  This program gives grants of $1,000.00 each to Indian schools to encourage Native students to read.

So, peruse the below donated items we have received so far, and place your bids.  And, we encourage and invite others to donate your extra memorabilia of Lindsay to us to share with her other fans around the world - and most importantly, to join Lindsay in making a difference.
