FanSource is pleased to announce that we are working on raising the funds for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Linda Gray. The fund-raising project was announced at the Eighth Annual FanSource A Fan Appreciation Weekend, which in 2008 honored the cast of Dallas with a Dallas Tribute Dinner. Check back as FanSource announces exciting memorabilia that will be auctioned on eBay, and as we continue to let you know the progress of this exciting FanSource project.

LATEST UPDATE (May. 2010)
Linda's nomination package was submitted, along with a letter from her Dallas co-star Larry Hagman, and her two children, Kehly Sloane and Jeff Thrasher, in 2008. Sadly, Linda was not selected by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce that year. They then hold over those nominations for the following year, and again in 2009 Linda was not selected. Therefore, we were required to send a new nomination package in for 2010, which has been submitted. |

The seventh annual FanSource A Fan Appreciation Weekend took place Oct. 19 - 21, 2007 at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn. The event featured a fund-raiser/tribute dinner honoring the cast of The Bionic Woman series. It was a memorable evening reuniting the cast including Lindsay Wagner, Richard Anderson, Martin E. Brooks, Jennifer Darling and Rick Lenz, along with special guests of the series - including Inge Lindgreen (Lindsay's stand-in) and Ginger Hadfield (Lindsay's hairdresser). Additionally, Lindsay was very pleased to announce what the fund-raising project to the dinner was. At the previous year's FanSource event, members of Lindsay's fan club wanted to honor Richard Anderson in some way. Lindsay suggested that her official fan club nominate Richard for a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. The dinner was the kick-off fund-raiser to help raise the funds for the cost of the star ($7,500). Richard's Star Dedication took place the following day, Monday, Oct. 22, 2007. The star location and dedication was at 205 S. Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs at 4pm. A reception followed immediately afterwards at Howard's Hollywood Hangout, located just down the street.

On Sept. 6, 2008 Lindsay visited
with Richard to tell him about his upcoming 'Star' on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars, and to give him the plaque we made up to the left. Needless to say, Richard was
left speechless and was very touched and thrilled about this honor. |

The Bruce Boxleitner Official Fan Club has announced that they are working on raising the funds for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Bruce Boxleitner.
A Special Message

You did it!!! Thank you all for
all the hard work and creativity you put into all your fund-raising
efforts. You should be very proud of yourselves, and I know Bruce
will be thrilled - and speechless for once - when he hears the wonderful
news. But remember, it is still a surprise for Bruce until his
nomination is accepted. We're working on the nomination papers now
and will submit them early next year. Currently, the star donation
is $15,000.00 - and since we are over that mark, we will hold the excess
funds in case the donation goes up, and any leftover proceeds will be
donated to the Los Robles Hospital NICU, for premature babies. Thank you
once again, and be sure to check back here for updates in the coming
months.

LATEST UPDATE (May. 2010)
Bruce's nomination paperwork was submitted in 2004,
and sadly Bruce was not selected that year. The Hollywood Chamber of
Commerce requests that submissions that are not selected one year are held over
for consideration the following year and they ask you not to re-submit that
second year. Therefore, in 2005 we were not required to do anything.
Since Bruce was not selected in 2005, his nomination package was once again
submitted in 2006, and again Bruce was not selected. However, we
re-submitted a new nomination package for the year 2007. In 2007 the
Hollywood Chamber of Commerce raised the nomination fee to $25,000. Though
we are not required to do so, a new nomination package was submitted in 2008.
Therefore, it was not necessary to re-submit a new package in 2009.
However, a new package was resubmitted for 2010. It is Melissa's
wish that we continue sending in the nomination paperwork and wait for Bruce's
selection before we continue with any further fund-raising.
To date, the total funds raised by the Bruce Boxleitner Official Fan Club is:
$19,342.00.
