FanSource is pleased to announce that we are working on raising the funds for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Linda Gray. The fund-raising project was announced at the Eighth Annual FanSource A Fan Appreciation Weekend, which in 2008 honored the cast of Dallas with a Dallas Tribute Dinner. Check back as FanSource announces exciting memorabilia that will be auctioned on ebay, and as we continue to let you know the progress of this exciting FanSource project.
The seventh annual FanSource A Fan Appreciation Weekend
took place Oct. 19 - 21, 2007 at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn. The event featured a fund-raiser/tribute dinner honoring the cast of The Bionic Woman series. It was a memorable evening
reuniting the cast including Lindsay Wagner, Richard Anderson,
Martin E. Brooks, Jennifer Darling and Rick Lenz, along with special guests of the series - including Inge Lindgreen (Lindsay's stand-in) and Ginger Hadfield (Lindsay's hairdresser). Additionally, Lindsay was very pleased to announce what the fund-raising project to the dinner was.
At the previous year's FanSource event, members of Lindsay's fan club wanted to honor Richard Anderson in some way. Lindsay suggested that her official
fan club nominate Richard for a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. The dinner was the kick-off fund-raiser to help raise the funds for the cost of the star ($7,500). Richard's Star Dedication took place the following day, Monday, Oct. 22, 2007. The star location and dedication was at 205 S. Palm
Canyon Drive in Palm Springs at 4pm. A reception followed immediately afterwards at Howard's Hollywood Hangout, located just down the street.
