You did it!!!  Thank you all for all the hard work and creativity you put into all your fund-raising efforts.  You should be very proud of yourselves, and I know Bruce will be thrilled - and speechless for once - when he hears the wonderful news.  But remember, it is still a surprise for Bruce until his nomination is accepted.  We're working on the nomination papers now and will submit them early next year.  Currently, the star donation is $15,000.00 - and since we are over that mark, we will hold the excess funds in case the donation goes up, and any leftover proceeds will be donated to the Los Robles Hospital NICU, for premature babies. Thank you once again, and be sure to check back here for updates in the coming months.

LATEST UPDATE (Jan. 2010)

Bruce's nomination paperwork was submitted in 2004, and sadly Bruce was not selected that year.  The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce requests that submissions that are not selected one year are held over for consideration the following year and they ask you not to re-submit that second year.  Therefore, in 2005 we were not required to do anything.  Since Bruce was not selected in 2005, his nomination package was once again submitted in 2006, and again Bruce was not selected.  However, we re-submitted a new nomination package for the year 2007.  In 2007 the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce raised the nomination fee to $25,000.  Though we are not required to do so, a new nomination package was submitted in 2008.  Therefore, it was not necessary to re-submit a new package in 2009.  However, we will re-submit another nomination package in 2010. It is Melissa's wish that we continue sending in the nomination paperwork and wait for Bruce's selection before we continue with any further fund-raising.

To date, the total funds raised by the Bruce Boxleitner Official Fan Club is: $19,342.00.
